In order to remove the grille shell you need to remove the upper radiator cover, and upper bumper trim piece.
Install Step #3:
Under the hood, remove the clips holding the radiator cover using a Flat-Blade Screwdriver.

To remove the upper bumper trim piece, you need to loosen the front fender flares from the truck. In the front wheel well, remove the 7mm screw, and pull the fender flare away from the fender - the front section of the flare will unclip with light/moderate pulling.

With the fender flare pulled away, you'll have access to the 10mm bolt tucked in the corner of the bumper.
Install Step #9:
With a sizeable pull, you'll be able to unclip the ends of the bumper trim as well as the center. Repeat steps 7 & 8 on the other side of the vehicle.
