(MIT-3315) Mitsubishi Eclipse MX Series Upper Grille

Install Step #1:
Here is our 09-10 Mitsubishi Eclipse Upper 1pc Mesh Grille Kit Part# Mit-3315 available in silver or black powder coat finish
Install Step #2:
Remove the plastic clips along the top of the upper grille.
Install Step #3:
Remove the bolt located on the right & left side of the headlamps.
Install Step #4:
Pull up on the bumper cover this will release the top corners.
Install Step #5:
Remove the screws located on the front section of the fender well area.
Install Step #6:
Remove the bolts that secure the bumper cover to the fender. These two bolts are in the vertical position located on the right & left sides.
Install Step #7:
These are the screws that secure bumper to fender. There are two on each side.
Install Step #8:
With the bolts removed the bumper cover will seperate from the fender as shown.
Install Step #9:
Remove the clips & screws located on the front underside of the bumper cover.
Install Step #10:
Remove bumper cover from vehicle. Un-plug any foglamp or driving lamp wires.
Install Step #11:
From the backside of the bumper unclip upper grille tabs.
Install Step #12:
Remove upper grille screws located in the right & left corners of the grille.
Install Step #13:
Using a screw driver may help to release upper grille plastic tabs.
Install Step #14:
Removing upper grille from the bumper cover.
Install Step #15:
The factory upper grille center section must be cut out as shown.
Install Step #16:
The factory upper grille will need a notch cut into the lower center section as shown. The notch will allow for the GrillCraft mesh grille center mounting tab.
Install Step #17:
Install the factory upper grille to the bumper cover once center has been cut out.
Install Step #18:

Install Step #19:
Mount the GrillCraft grille into upper grille opening from the front side. Make sure that the outer mounting tabs slide into the slotted openings in the bumper.
Install Step #20:
Hold grille firmly in place before marking mounting tab center holes.
Install Step #21:
Mark center mounting tab hole using a sharp scribe.
Install Step #22:
Mark right & left mounting tab hole using a sharp scribe.
Install Step #23:
Using 3/16 drill bit. Drill holes for the mounting screws.
Install Step #24:
The supplied upper grille mounting hardware.
Install Step #25:
Place screws into drilled holes and mount "flat" nut onto the backside of the screw.
Install Step #26:
Fasten screw with a 1/4 inch wrench. Make sure to alin grille while fastening screws for proper alingment.
