Our project Acura RSX in need of a GrillCraft Sport grille.

Remove the plastic fasteners that secure the upper grille cover trim.
|
Picture #3:
Pull back on upper grille to gain access to the grille fastners.
|
Picture #4:
Remove upper grille fastners as shown.

Picture #5:
Remove upper grille from vehicle as shown.

Picture #6:
Cut out the center emblem section of the factory grille.

Picture #7:
Trim factory grille plastic for grille insert mounting tabs. Place the GrillCraft upper grille against factory grille then mark upper mounting pin locations.

Drill 3/16 inch hole for grille insert upper mounting pins.

Picture #9:
Drill 3/16 inch hole for lower mounting screws.

Picture #10:
trim a little bit of plastic out for the lower mounting screw as shown.

Picture #11:
Now you can cut out the remaining center section of the factory grille. It is always best to mark and drill your mounting screw locations before cutting out the complete grille center.

Place grille insert pins into the factory grille shell as shown.

The lower mounting hardware. It is always best to paint mounting hardware flat black when installing a black grille.

Place mounting pin hardware in place.

Using a small nut driver to push fastner down works great.

Attach factory grille shell to vehicle bumper.
