Remove the plastic clips that hold the top plastic trim cover.

Remove the upper reinforcement shown in photo it has a couple of bolts.

From the backside using a small screwdriver remove grille screws.

Remove factory upper grille.
OPTIONAL: The Grillcraft grille can be installed with or without the factory grille in place. If you keep the factory grille in place remove the emblem and chrome trim.

For the best finished look we recommend painting the area behind the grille with flat black spray paint. Tape off the grille outline as shown you want to paint the area behing the grille outline.

Using the 3M Scoth brite scuffing pad works great to prep the area to be painted.

We like using the Trim Black paint from SEM
Part# 39143 available at auto body paint supply stores but any flat black spray paint will work just fine.

Spray painting background area with flat black spray paint this will make the background nice and dark for a better appearance.
